There are over 1,000 known patient advocacy groups and support organizations in Japan, but more than half of them do not have websites. We directly surveyed those organizations to ask them the reason. The following results were obtained.

Because of those survey results EMPOWER HEALTHCARE started providing "Kanshin Kobo", a free website tool for easy creation, editing, and promoting complete websites for patient advocacy groups and support organizations. Kanshin Hiroba is a direct result of the experience gained in providing over 7,000 medical institutions with a paid website construction tool.
Hassle-free operation. Input the activities of the organization exactly as you do with a word processor and post images on the site in the same way you select files on a PC.
This service increases communication between organizations and patients and empowers patients with information and networks.

Myclinic medical institution information service
The site is free of charge.
The Medical/pharmaceutical functional information service system became effective in April 2007. The following obligations were then placed on medical institutions and pharmacies.
1. Medical institutions/pharmacies shall submit "certain information" on their medical/pharmaceutical function to the relevant prefectural office.
2. Information on their medical/pharmaceutical function shall be available in writing or on electronic media (Internet, etc.) at the medical institution/pharmacy.
The MyClinic medical institution information service is a free web page to support information disclosure by the medical institution/pharmacy, thus fulfilling the obligation in clause 2 of the regulation. The information can be disclosed by installing a PC at the medical institution/pharmacy or printing it on the management page of this service.
Management is very simple. All you need is a PC connected to the Internet. You can log onto a dedicated URL and input and publish the medical/pharmaceutical functional information items using it. Information can be modified in real time an advantage of an online service.
